The Short Version
Your files never leave your device — all processing happens locally in your browser. We do not collect, store, or process your file data on any server. We use Umami Analytics to understand how visitors find and use this site. Umami sets no cookies and collects no personal data. No advertising, no user profiles, no data selling.
File Processing
All file processing on NoFileUpload happens entirely within your web browser using client-side JavaScript. When you use any of our tools:
- Your files are read from your local device using the browser's File API
- Processing is performed in your browser's memory using JavaScript and WebAssembly
- Results are generated locally and available for download
- No file data is transmitted to any server, including ours
- No file data is stored, cached, or logged anywhere outside your browser
- When you close the browser tab, all file data is cleared from memory
You can verify this by monitoring the Network tab in your browser's developer tools while using any tool. You will see zero requests containing your file data.
Data We Collect
We use Umami Analytics to collect anonymized, aggregated data about how visitors use this website. Umami is an open-source, privacy-respecting analytics platform. The data collected includes:
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- Referring website or search engine
- Browser type and device category (desktop / mobile / tablet)
- Country-level geographic data
- Events such as button clicks and tool usage (no file data is included)
Umami does not collect IP addresses, names, email addresses, or any directly identifying personal information. Your file contents are never sent to Umami or any other service. All analytics data is fully anonymized and cannot be used to identify individual users.
Cookies
NoFileUpload sets no cookies. Umami Analytics, our analytics provider, is designed to be completely cookieless — it does not set any cookies on your device, either first-party or third-party. No cookie consent banner is required.
Third-Party Services
We use Umami Analytics, an open-source analytics platform hosted on Umami Cloud (umami.is). Umami is designed from the ground up to be privacy-respecting: it collects no personal data, sets no cookies, and does not track users across websites. Anonymized, aggregated analytics data is stored on Umami's servers.

We do not integrate with advertising networks, social media trackers, or data brokers. We do not sell, share, or transfer personal data to any third party beyond the anonymized analytics described above.
GDPR — Your Rights (EU / EEA Residents)
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Right of access — you can request information about data we hold.
- Right to erasure — you can request deletion of your data.
- Right to object — because Umami collects no personal data and sets no cookies, there is no individual-level data to object to.
- Right to lodge a complaint — you can contact your local data protection authority.
Our lawful basis for processing analytics data is legitimate interests(Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — specifically, understanding how our website is used so we can improve it. Because Umami collects no personal data and sets no cookies, the privacy impact is minimal and no consent banner is required.

No Account Required
NoFileUpload does not require user registration or login. We don't collect email addresses, names, or any personal information to use our tools. There is no user database.
Children's Privacy
NoFileUpload does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Our tools are general-purpose utilities that do not target or require data from minors.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Since we don't collect email addresses, we cannot notify users of changes directly — please check this page periodically.
